    Transcription Questions

    What video platforms are supported?

    ClipTranscribe supports TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels for short-form transcription, and full YouTube videos for long-form transcription and viral moment finding.

    Why isn't my video transcribing?

    Make sure the video URL is publicly accessible - private or restricted videos can't be processed. Also check that you've pasted the full URL including https://. If the problem persists, the platform may be temporarily rate-limiting requests. Try again in a few minutes.

    How long does transcription take?

    Short-form videos (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) typically transcribe in under 10 seconds. Long-form YouTube videos may take 30-90 seconds depending on length. Pro users get priority processing for faster results.

    How do I get a TikTok transcript?

    Paste the TikTok video URL into ClipTranscribe and click Transcribe. You'll get an accurate text transcript in seconds - no app download or signup needed.

    Can I transcribe Instagram Reels to text?

    Yes. Paste any public Instagram Reel URL and ClipTranscribe will return a full text transcript, ready to copy or turn into a script.

    How do I transcribe a YouTube Short?

    Copy the YouTube Shorts URL, paste it into ClipTranscribe, and hit Transcribe. The transcript appears in seconds.

    Can I transcribe a full YouTube video?

    Yes. Use our Long-Form tool to transcribe full-length YouTube videos of any duration. You'll get the complete transcript plus the option to find viral moments inside it.

    How many viral clips can I find per video?

    Free users can find up to 3 viral moments per video. Pro subscribers can find up to 10 viral moments per video, giving you a much deeper analysis of your content.

    Billing Questions

    How do I upgrade to Pro?

    Click 'Upgrade to Pro' anywhere in the app, or go to Settings → Subscription. You'll be taken to a secure checkout page to complete your purchase.

    How do I cancel my subscription?

    Go to Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription. This opens your billing portal where you can cancel anytime. Your Pro access continues until the end of your current billing period.

    Will I be charged immediately?

    Yes, your first payment is processed immediately when you subscribe. After that, you're billed monthly or annually depending on the plan you chose.

    How do I access my invoices?

    Go to Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription. Your billing portal contains all past invoices and payment history.

    Account Questions

    How do I change my password?

    Go to Settings → Password & Security. Enter your new password and confirm it, then click Update Password.

    How do I delete my account?

    Please contact us at support@cliptranscribe.com and we'll process your account deletion request. Make sure to cancel any active subscription first.

    Why can't I see my transcript history?

    Transcript history is only available when you're signed in. Transcriptions made as a guest (without signing in) are not saved. Sign in or create an account to start saving your transcripts automatically.
